Since September 2007, the Provincial legislation changed allowing dental hygienists to work independent of a dentist, therefore allowing the public to choose where, and with whom they receive their preventative dental needs. 
Choosing to visit an independent hygiene clinic, you are guaranteed to see the same person for your dental hygiene care. No more being shuffled to a different hygienist at each visit. This allows for greater continuity of care and for you to become comfortable with your provider.
